Details: Acetyl-MWDFDDLNFTGMPPADEDYSP-amide, a peptide derived from a single extracellular subdomain of the IL-8 receptor was shown to be a potent inhibitor of the IL-8/IL-8 receptor interaction. It inhibited IL-8 binding with Ki = 13 µM. This peptide was also highly selective for IL-8 over C5a.
